Huntington’s Family Support Network – Provides support and home visitation on an as-needed basis to pregnant/parenting adults. Group sessions take place three mornings a week and provide parenting education, basic life skills, information and linkages to other community programs. The group experience promotes peer support, fosters friendships and lessens feelings of isolation.

McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center – A non-profit organization dedicated to ending child abuse through intervention and education. The organization offers a safe, child-friendly process for abused children and their families, supported by a committed, professional team specializing in the investigation, prosecution and treatment of child abuse.

NAMI Syracuse – Offers family support training and monthly support groups.

Onondaga County Child and Family Services Unit – The focus of the Family Services Unit is to address the risk and safety issues present in identified families in order to prevent the foster care placement of children.  Efforts are undertaken to coordinate and integrate the family with community services and resources.

Ray of Hope – Offers individual and couples mentoring for individuals contending with panic, anxiety, and depression disorders.

The Salvation Army Child & Family Services – Provides high quality home based case management services to families with children experiencing challenges that may lead to safety risks.

Vera House – A comprehensive domestic and sexual violence service agency providing shelter, advocacy, and counseling services for women, children & men, education and prevention programs and community coordination.

Young Parent Program – Provides parents ages 13-21 with the necessary and appropriate skills to build healthy relationships with their children including education on pre-natal development, child development, nutrition and general health, parenting, self-care skills, and information regarding linkage to local resources.
